In recent years, as a product designer at nendo and in collaboration with the design label inuk kollektiv, I have been able to implement various design projects.

These range from individual everyday objects to multi-part furniture collections.

Here is a selection of the work in which I was significantly involved.

For the renovation of the train station in Tenri, not far from Osaka (Japan), nendo created the concept and realized its implementation in cooperation with its architectural partners. A multi-part furniture collection was created for the interior in a design language that matched the architecture. The collection consists of a stool, several benches, two coffee tables, a sofa and two shelves.

chirp

Chirp are two different small flower vases that are abstractly reminiscent of birds.

There are different stands for the vases, on each of which a different number of little birds can sit. It is a simple and playful decorative element for the home and office.

flow bowl

This furniture collection was designed for the Italian furniture manufacturer Alias. With two exceptions, the collection consists of coffee tables and vases. Due to the smooth transition from the table top to the bowl, the functions of the support surface and the storage bowl merge with each other. Magazines can be placed in the larger bowls or a woolen blanket for cool evenings.

Inuk

These projects were created in close collaboration with Jacqueline Amacher as part of inuk kollektiv .

Avalu is a hanging picture frame that is magnetically clamped to the picture or poster at the top and bottom. There are now many similar products with the same concept.

Nuulli is a swing for indoor use. The asymmetrical shape and the textile elements are intended to loosen up the seriousness of the classic living space.

Sir, a coin pouch for the man - or woman, whose basic idea is to free up the wallet from the coin compartment and carry the coins separately in another trouser or jacket pocket.
